Visit the highlights of Tunisia:  bustling Tunis, the ruins of ancient Carthage, the old Islamic town of Monastir, ancient Roman sites (Dougga & El Jem), fortified Berber villages in the Sahara, and the island of Djerba.  The tour continues to the island nation of Malta, with 2 nights in the beautiful capital city of Valletta, touring the island by bus, boat, and on foot.  Group will be led by Matt and/or Suzan Ebiner with English-speaking guides.

GeoTours Tunisia/Malta tour can be combined with GeoTours Algeria ($2090), which starts on March 19.  The Algeria tour mostly spends time in a spectacular part of the Sahara, with 3 nights of desert camping.  If doing both Algeria and Tunisia/Malta, airfare from Algiers to Tunisia is included in the trip cost.

TUNISIA-MALTA COST = $2490 – includes lodging in a double/twin room, breakfasts, 4 dinners, private tour bus, English-speaking guides, many entries/activities, one domestic flight in Tunisia and one international flight from Tunisia to Malta.  Single rooms are limited and cost +$650.  Discounts for GeoTours alumni and early registration.
